As you can imagine, I was extremely happy when I was given a goodie bag full of girlie products to say thankyou for my hard work at V-festival. I love the all the products I was given and below I have written short reviews so hopefully you will treat yourself to some too!
ELEGANT NAILS INSTANT STICK ON MANICURE £7.10 I couldn't wait to try these nails when I looked through my goody bag! I loved the studded nail design and thought they looked really edgy and cool for fake nails! A case contains 24 nails in 10 different sizes, and 24 glue tabs. Glue tabs are a new way of sticking on nails with little damage to your own nail underneath. The glue tabs were quick and easy to use (peel off from sheet, press on your own nail, remove protective layer and press on fake nail) however I found they didn't have the longevity of normal nail glue. Within an hour I had lost 3 nails which was really disappointing as the nails looked so gorgeous on! I decided to buy the Elegant touch nail glue £3.10 the next day to reattach my nails. They basically survived everything for a week; even being a hairdresser and constantly having my hands in water. So if you want your nails to last a long time, I wouldn't recommend the glue tabs. However, if your going for a night out and just want them on for the night the glue tabs would be your perfect solution. I would recommend with nail glue!
ELEGANT TOUCH GEL ROCKS £14.99 (I must apologise for my awful nail painting skills, I'm so messy when doing my own nails haha) This product is an easy 2 step system which gives you results of a professional gel manicure in the comfort of your own home. You apply two layers of your chosen coloured polish and once dry apply the clear layer. Once set your nails will have a gorgeous glossy finish and give the appearance of a professional gel manicure which should last for up to 10 days with no chips or fade. It does this with a blend acrylic (materials that act as a plumping activator on the base of the nails) and gel polish colour to deliver a finish that is lifted and super shiny. I've had mine painted for 3 days now and it hasn't chipped! I really like this product and would recommend if you want a long lasting manicure without the hefty price tag.
EYELURE EYELASHES £5.36 I am the biggest fan of fake eyelashes. I have been wearing them everyday for the past 3 years so have tried quite a few different brands, EYELURE is definitely one of the best. They are extremely easy to apply and the glue keeps them on all day without having to reapply the corners! Once applied the lashes look full and natural (depending on the ones you pick) and can be enhanced with mascara. These lashes are also reusable, every night I take them off and reapply in the morning, doing this one pair can last me up to 2 weeks. In the picture I am wearing the 'texture' lashes which give a more natural look for the daytime!
MARK HILL MIRACOILICIOUS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER £6.49 This product is perfect for us girlies who dye and straighten our hair too much leaving it dry, damaged an limp. I recently had my purple hair stripped to dark brown and blonde ombre, so you can imagine how dry and brittle it felt! After just one wash I really noticed a difference to my hair, it felt softer, shinier and smoother. The MiracOILicious Nourishing Shampoo and conditioner is packed with a mix of natural ingredients and essential oils including Moroccan Argan Oil, Ylang-Ylang and Palmarosa. It leaves hair nourished, Frizz-free and super shiny! The products smell amazing too and leaves a lovely fragrance to your hair. I would recommend for medium-thick hair which is in need of some moisture! To maintain your new luscious locks I would defiantly recommend the mask for a once a week treatment. Apply all over the hair and wrap hair in a towel (locks in heat to open cuticle) for 10 mins, your hair will feel like silk. Have you tried any of these products?
